This is one of my favorites from the session, and it’s just one of those images that is timeless.  

Who can turn down this glorious, happy smile!  I love seeing happy babies!!! 

I love meeting new people and learning about their lives, their families, their work, etc. A few weeks ago, I met a really sweet family while I was at the CityCentre Spring Market. Sara is the creator of OliverB, a line of beautifully designed baby bedding. You can find her company online at http://www.oliverbco.com/.

The bedding is beautiful! It has great color and design. But, the really great thing about this bedding is Sara’s patent-pending crib bumper design. She has really done her research when it comes to SIDS, and let’s face it… no mom puts her baby to sleep at night without worrying about it. But, her bumper allows for beauty, comfort, and… air flow. Because, research shows that without air flow in and out of the crib, carbon dioxide can build up, and because it is heavier than air, it stays around the baby in the crib. You’ve been waiting.  It’s finally time!!!  The mini sessions are back this March!  Saturday 3/27 and Sunday 3/28!  Where?  At the new CityCentre near the Beltway and Memorial, next to Town and Country.  The mini sessions will take place at a {covered} outdoor booth, so they are best suited to toddlers and older.  Are they limited to the little ones?  Absolutely NOT! 

• Did you just get engaged and want just a couple of fabulous shots?  Schedule a mini! 
• Are you a mom addicted to facebook and need a fabulous new headshot for your profile?  Schedule a mini! 
• Do you have several little ones who need updated portraits?  Schedule a mini! 

You can even schedule several if you want extra time (which is highly recommended for more than two peeps).  Just be sure to schedule early to get the best times, especially if you need a couple mini’s back to back. 

While you are there, you can check out a movie at Studio Movie Grill, have lunch at one of the fabulous restaurants, or shop at one of the stores… like Anthropologie!  Town & Country Village has other great shopping, like Pottery Barn, the Gap, White House Black Market, Gymboree, and Carter’s.  And don’t forget to grab a cub of java from Starbucks!  Mmmm!  There will also be other vendors during the market, so be sure to make time to browse all the great items!

Speaking of his mom, I should mention how creative she is!  When I arrived, she had a collection of coordinating frames layed out on the floor.  She had gone to a framer and had the staircase display designed… even before knowing what pictures she might want to use.  I think that was a great idea, especially for a staircase collection.  It looked great on the floor, without any photographs, so I can’t wait to see the finished product!  Maybe she’ll let me come back to take a snap of it to share here!

The new store looks FABULOUS!  They have so many cute clothes, from newborn to pre-teen, for boys and girls!  They have tons of shoes, a great selection of dance wear, and lots of fun accessories!

If you’ve been in the store before, you know I have a display of gallery wrapped canvases by the kid’s play area, and that display is still there in the new store.  But, at Lynn’s request, I’ve added to it with one hundred and twenty four more prints!  That’s right… 124!  Lynn had wanted to add a border along the top of her new slatwall, but after it was constructed and raised high enough to accomodate the plugs near the bottom, we realized there was really only a few inches to work with.  At first I was apprehensive of doing such small prints so high, but in the end, I think Lynn had a great vision.  You really have to see it in person!  Now,  unfortunately, it is not quite “done”.  We plan to add beautiful wording between the groupings to really tie it all together!  Plus, once she remodels the bathroom, I will be adding more prints and canvases to the bathroom and the dressing rooms.  It’s going to be fab, so keep checking back here to see the finished product!  Or, better yet, check it out in person at Rattle Tattle!

What a fantastic shoe collection!  They have the styles and the stock to make any girl drool!  Plus, they have a great boot selection.

Once my daughter and I saw these Laura Ashley shoes, we just had to get them!  They are darling, and match nearly every outfit she has for school!  Plus, you really can’t beat the price… just $30!  For something so cute AND practical, that is a great deal!

These little outfits (below) are perfect for a more traditional look.  These are very classic and timeless.  I can’t even count how many sessions I have done with outfits like these.

Look at these darling baby boy clothes.  You just can’t look at these and not want a little baby boy of your own to fill them up!

Rattle Tattle also has great decorative items.  How cute are these?

Love the little ladybug outfit, and the little shoes with the cutouts.  I wish I was little again, so I could wear these!

Accessories galore!

Okay, is it just me, or is this the funnest outfit you have ever seen?  I just love the black and pink, with the polka dots and the crown bling! 

We didn’t buy it YET, but my daughter does have a birthday coming up and as the sign says, it is just “tutu cute”.  : )
