Baby “M” is such a doll. Just look at that big smile. It is such a joy to see her grow and change since her newborn session.

Hi! Welcome to my newest "blogsite"! Instead of maintaing a separate website and blog, I have combined the best features from both into one easy to navigate "blogsite". My recent work and the latest news is in the main body of the blog, while the "411" about sessions and weddings, galleries of my work, and a wealth of other information that you might find useful is in the other tabs located at the top. Don't forget to check back often to see the latest!
If you have any questions or if you are ready to schedule, just call 281-645-6211. I look forward to working with you!
The Dog Days of Summer: Stay in the AC this summer! Schedule a photo session for your 4-legged friend during the month of June or July and get a thirty minute session and four 5"x5" prints for just $125! (This special is available for 2-legged "animals" too... uhm... you know... your kiddos!)

This new backdrop is gorgeous in a very soft blue damask pattern against a white background.
It is lovely in color, but just as lovely in black and white.
(The cutie patootie modeling on it doesn’t hurt either.) wink wink.

Isn’t it lovely? It has the feel of vintage wallpaper, and it looks great in color or black and white (or sepia, as shown below).
Love, love, love it!

Or, should that say “7 days new”? Age just doesn’t matter when you’re this stinkin cute!
Thank you to Baby L (and her mom) for being one of my newborn models!

Did you notice the new “current specials”? They are posted right at the top of the home page, so you can find them easily!
So, check back often!

My little girl, age 5… “AND A HALF” as she would say, loves to use my point and shoot (p&s) camera to practice her photography. Her aunt and uncle gave her one of those little fisher price indestructible children’s cameras a couple of years ago, and it served it’s purpose. But, she couldn’t really take good photographs and therefore she couldn’t learn HOW to take better photographs. So, I usually let her borrow my point and shoot camera. It is usually tucked in my purse for those times when I don’t want to miss something, but don’t necessarily feel like hauling around the “big gun”. Well, in this case, she was using my p&s while I had the big gun out, and so as she started to take a picture of me, I took one of her. It wasn’t until I looked at the resulting image that I realized just how much use my p&s has gotten.

When I bought this camera, I had done my research to find the perfect little camera. Unfortunately, when I found it, I realized that they no longer made it. But, I couldn’t find any other camera on the market that had the features that I wanted. This little camera had lots of the settings my big gun had, plus a video option, a raw file option, and it even took the same CF cards, all of which is rare in a p&s. But, I guess the general public doesn’t necessarily need those features, which is why it must have been removed and updated to a different model. Anyway, I had to go to EBAY to find this particular camera. It was in used, but good condition when I bought it years ago, and it is still a great camera. But, since my little doodlebug likes to take pictures too, I think I will be passing the torch on this one. I guess I’ll have to research to find another little p&s for me, and I hope I can find one with similar features. It really is a great little camera.
If you have any suggestions for a great little point and shoot, lay ‘em on me.
I know I do.
Unfortunately my husband claims he is not a cat person… and we’ve already got enough chaos around here so I won’t push this particular issue… this time.
The two little black and white ones are taken, and one little black one will stay at the barn (where their mom resides), which leaves the last little black one looking for a home. They aren’t mine, but I can pass on the info if you’re interested. Just email me. The mom is the absolute sweetest cat you will ever meet, and these little guys are sweet too, not to mention absolutely adorable! By the way, they are FREE!
